This place is just fantastic! Definitely worth the walk, take in the amazing views and then sit down with a beer or sangria and just relax. I had a very tasty chicken salad on our second visit. We were sad to leave but will definitely return on our next holiday.
Greatly located on the punta de n’Amer near the castillo, it is a good place for a rest. We enjoyed the tuna salad and the tuna sandwich , both a good value and very tasty. Don’t miss the place.
In between Sa Coma and Cala Millor is an outcrop of land on there is a horse riding school and what's called a Castle clearly seen from afar, its not a castle but a watch tower of old, looks castle ish ? and next to it is a big bar restaurant with seating outside, prices seemed good to us 7 euro for 2 pints. To get there is a walk on sandy tracks for about 3/4 of a mile from the main road there are a few ways to approach from the road so look at the track phots as you enter the area not advised in the dark. When you get to the Castle first thing you think is, its not a castle then you can go in, its small but particularly its dark, pitch black especially on the steep curved steps good views from the roof when you get there, on the way down the steps you will inevitably encounter someone coming up, there's only room for one. Phone torches on !!! Then you can have a drink and or snack before you go back, toilets also available. Or take your own picnic then its all free. Just beware from the road it looks closer than it is, wear a hat, take water and appropriate footwear. Also watch your kids, there are no fences by the moat or drawbridge just a drop down also supervise them in the castle. Many fall/trip hazards. Near the Castle are a group of wild cats and hens living together bizarre and a horse riding school. Worth the effort just for the views and exercise, some good phots too.
Lovely Location but very expensive. Certainly aimed at the German tourists, staff were OK, but not particularly friendly
