Cucinotta - SANTA MARINA SALINA

Me and my wife, together with another couple, have had lunch at this super nice location in Salina santa marina. The food was awesome, and the service really kind and professional . I totally recommend

We turned up a group of 8 without a reservation. We were kindly asked to stand by and wait 5 minutes whilst the staff arranged and sanitised the tables to sit us all together, whilst maintaing appropriate social distancing from the other diners. (would have loved the seaview from the terrace, but being mid October we ate indoors). We were given all the time to study the menu, helped with detailed explanations and provided with useful suggestions, without being ever rushed into making our choices. Home made pasta, fresh local fish we had been advised by our B&B host to go for the Alalunga (longfin tuna) and rich vegetable side dishes did not disappoint. We finished with the delicious Torta Cannolo in other word a Cannolo Siciliano rearranged as a cheesecake. Very reasonably priced.

This was the best place we ate on the Island with nice fresh food served out on the lower balcony. We needed to book to get a place and service was quietly efficient. The restaurant served may local wines which we enjoyed. We ate seafood and pasta; both were very good.

The place is very nice, the service is quick and kind, the food is very good. And more? I would like to report an excellent tuna salad, the best ever eaten and taken on both visits. very well! modest prices compared to quality. highly recommended. great welcome also made to my four-legged friend.
