La Dolce Isola - SCALEA

Discovered this lovely morning coffee cafe in Scalea, during our recent visit to the area. The coffee and marmalade croissants are delicious and the staff are very friendly and polite. It's well situated in the pedestrian only part of the centre, perfect for watching the world go by, whilst enjoying your coffee. I would definitely recommend when in Scalea.

Tired from driving from the ferry crossing at Messina, we strolled around Scalea and wanted a beverage and a snack. Ordered 2 beers at the counter and received the snacks the first we’ve received in 12 days gratis. Nice surprise! No pressure to buy any additional beer, which we did.

After a great dinner we strolled over here as recommended by our waitress from dinner. Service was excellent. Coffee. And made in the store.....ice cream. Top that with an Italian digestive drink and it really doesn't get better. Very clean!! Must visit.

I went to this bar because I was impressed by the Christmas decorations....within all the details are cured....like this center of the table....compliments

Great place. the best croissant with pistachio area of stairs. also good choice of smoothies. with a cocktail always small stucco things.
