Cancellation of my reservations an hour before because rain, but no rain

The wait staff was amazing. They were non-stop for over 2-hours. The drinks were cold and made well.

I waited a while to write this review because I wanted to wait till a little love creeped back in my heart after this incident. A rant doesn't do anyone any good. So here goes. Two months ago my grand-daughter, her boyfriend and some friends went to The Point for a bite to eat and some cocktails. Although they ordered a chicken quesadilla, they were mistakenly served a shrimp quesadilla--which they ate much of before realizing it was shrimp, not chicken. This caused someone in the party to literally go into a life threatening allergic reaction. As they scrambled to get him help, the server and the manager played the unhelpful role of denying that it even happened. While some of them attended to their sick friend, the rest of them were handed a padded bill with stuff on it they didn't order. If you or someone you love has food allergies, or any self respect at all, don't risk going to this place. Mistakes can happen, yes, but mean and rude is avoidable in EVERY situation. By the way, The Point, after a rough night and medical intervention, he's ok.
