A pure farm in the alsace balloon, unsurpassed, on the terrace by a beautiful sun, (well booked before), traditional meals all is made home according to their animal or vegetable production, impeccable service, we will go back in winter to drop the raclette to the milk of cow house
We went to eat two evenings immediately at the farm-inn (attention, not to confuse with the very short inn of the same name)! to taste the delicious raclette at the barkass and the charcuterie of the farm, then the meat turn the next day (to be ordered the day before). everything was delicious, in enough quantity for us to shave after 20km walk, and served with a smile!
All the products are homemade and you can taste them. the very friendly owner made the stay something very special. the location of the farm, the views and the garden, where you can still relax in the decks, are hardly surpassable. certainly one of the best farmhouses of the Vosges because it remains original and not too touristic. Just wonderful!
Fortunately we were only 8 customers in all because beyond having waited 20 minutes to get the map and then 50 minutes to be served .... of the cut-offs charcuterie cheese (typically what local farms serve) we were very disappointed with the meal. Although good but very low quantities, 6€ for 3 small slices of ham lard maxi 90g in all with an eighth of tomato in decor (the butchery price is 15€/kg), 10€ for a plate with the same lard two micro pieces of cheese. conclusions, 46€ the meal for 2 adults and 1 child 7 years old and we went to take dessert elsewhere ... had enough to wait .... I knew the place before to go at least 7/8 times, they lost a lot, had shared by other walkers accustomed to the square. So it was the last time for us. Please take your back because the place is still nice!
