Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have been to lonestar on many occasions before and have never had any issues however when I turned up for this booking with my friends on Saturday, the place was closed. There was no communication regarding the closure beforehand and to be honest this ruined our long awaited evening. We had no other booking and as all restaurants now require pre booking we had no choice but to go back home. I would appreciate next time to be notified by email if my booking cannot be honored.
The restaurant was closed when we arrived, totally spoilt our evening as couldn't get in anywhere else.
I was extremely disappointed when I made my way to Sheffield to dine at Lonestar, only to find out that the restaurant was closed. I had received a text the day before confirming my booking, but upon arrival, I saw that the shutters were down and there was a sign in the window stating that they had been closed since August 1st due to COVID-19. Despite receiving a text on August 19th asking if I was still planning to come, I was unable to find another restaurant in Sheffield due to the popularity of the "eat out to help out" scheme. This was especially disappointing as the reservation was for my 4-year anniversary and our first time dining out since the pandemic. While I understand the reason for the closure, better customer service, such as an email or phone call, could have prevented us from wasting money on transportation.
Really nice place to eat and drink, great value for money and amazing food and cocktails.
Great selection of different types of cuisine. Good quality food, a few of the portions were on the small side (even for tapas) considering the price, but overall fantastic. The staff were really attentive, professional and friendly, and the cocktails well made.
