I love the food. We have the $60 per pair of dinner pre-fixed menu (available sun Durs dinner). It includes: 1 bottle of wine (from red/white selection) 2 of the following: soup or salad 2 of ducks from a selection 1 dessert of choice (on the chalkboard) salmon was fresh and supposedly out, chicken was tender. I liked the waffle that comes with chicken and it had an interesting taste. I love that their food is not excessively salted like other restaurants where u would end up drinking a lot of water after eating. So if you're hard on salt, you might not like it. The dessert chocolate fond (Vlava cake), covered with ice, was just a bit sweet to my taste. I love the service! The young male server was our main server. He was great and happy.
My son works here and I'm pretty sure that the customers are seeing better service from now on.
I ordered the $20 grass fed hamburger with the Brioche neck, but they were out. That was after she didn't have the Marinara to make my girlfriend's gnocci. The waiter was beautiful and knowledgeable, but the quality did not match the price.
Food is good. Customer service, not so much. If you need to change ANYTHING from a menu item...forget it. The owners will not allow any alteration to what is printed on menu. For example, I asked to withhold the bread from a listed sandwich. Nope. Asked if I could have a salad without the onions. Nope. After unsuccessfully trying to find something on the menu which was in line w/my dietary needs, I let the waiter know that if I couldn?t change a single dish, I would need to find another location for lunch. He simply said ?okay?. Could have cared less to lose a customer. Sadly, the owner(s) are not into accommodating simple requests. Not good for business. It?s a SMALL town!
