Pizzeria Nazionale - SIRACUSA

The reason why I gave 2 starts is because the waiter was doing his job in a great way and food is decent, however the food is below the expectations : Tagliatelle al cinghiale was extremely salty as the pizza, hots of the Tagliere di mare was cold and,Spaghetti alle vongole was nothing special. The bad thing is that they kept us waiting at the door for almoast 10mn and since the order we waited 45mn to get the starters even though the restaurant was half empty on a mid week day. Will not come back.

The place is valid bith as pizzeria and restaurant. Pizza has large thick cornicione around, portions at the restaurant are large and there is a reach appetizer buffet.

Good, made to order and amazing snails, I asked for them to be cooked with cherry tomatoes and onions and the lady did it with perfection. No thrills place just good home cooked food and reasonable prices. Full of locals. Try the buffet. My son had the home ravioli with ragu amazing
