The Plough - Southwark

New to the area and tried The Plough on a whim for a few beers and lunch with visiting friends. The pub is lovely cool decor in and out and the food was great! I had the fish and chips which was light, crispy and delicious. Jack and Malcolm were great servers during our visit and the whole experience was welcoming and relaxed just what we needed. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Our experience has been inconsistent. Really good last Sunday. Really not great this Saturday. My son had the kids burger with a brownie and got two very different portions each time (I only took a picture of the brownies, but the burger and my meal were also v different). Service was also slow and sloppy this time.

Very nice pie today turkey ham very festive. Rhys mentioned it was a new menu, I cant wait to try the rest please let the chefs know it was delicious.

Great spot for Sunday roast and fish and chips! Definitely recommend it!

We were at The Plough today for my mum's 80th birthday. We were a party of 11 and everything went really well, Sue made sure our orders went smoothly. Our waitresses Ellie Sasha were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us and made the whole occasion wonderful. Thank you one and all and see you again soon
