I finally got my husband to go to subway after not going for years. This experience was ridiculously bad. The woman server was rude. The sub buns were old and stale and the tuna sub was just horrible. The mayo to tuna ratio was way tooo much ! So it was runny and sloppy. Add the stale bun , you actually pushed out a sub that was both soggy AND chewy! It was a very bad experience and I know he won't return.Thank you , money NOT well spent !
No pickles! I get a veggie sub and really pickles are the reason I get it. I was not forewarned in any way about the lack of pickles… nor did the rude staff who served me, apologize, explain or show any inclination of caring. When I arrived someone was serving a customer in front of me. Another staff member came out from the back and started putting gloves on. She glanced at me but didn’t say anything so I continued to wait (thinking maybe she was coming to help her coworker make a large order) she then put her hands out and gave me a look of exasperation as if to say, “wtf! I haven’t got all day! Hurry up” or something to that effect. Not that it matters but it was 725pm, and there was no one else waiting”. I was trying to be polite and was waiting for her to SPEAK to me. After she made my sub, neglecting to toast it, and having no pickles (as mentioned). She took my 20.00 bill directly out of the till and left my sandwhich on her side of the counter while she dealt with the . I was left stressing if she would degrade me for not taking my food then. After a few minutes, she put my sub in a bag and handed it to me. She did not ask me if I wanted a drink, anything else or even my receipt, nor was she wearing a name tag (I wouldn’t wear a name tag either If I was so cranky and atrocious at customer service. I have had many great experiences at that subway store- so I will go again. But I will ask if there is anything they are out of first, and if that woman is working I will go elsewhere.
There was only one woman behind the counter tonight (26/06/23) and despite her skip the dishes ipad going off constantly, everytime she had to answered that and come to take my chicken teriyaki out of the oven or touch condiments she always changed gloves immediately. She was attentive, polite and charming and an all around great human being 10/10 give this woman a raise or promotion. She was killing it tonight in every way possible.
I went in for a sub today, but had to leave, the guy behind the counter was rude because I was wearing a mask. HE WOULD BE THE REASON FOR THE LOW RATING.PROBABLY THE ATTITUDE.I went across the way to Tim Hortons where they heard me no problem.
