Zapata Ole Restaurant - St. John's

This is the second time we visited Zapatas because I am always ready to give something a second attempt. From the time we went, I immediately regretted my decision. The waiting staff was rude and the server had breathing that could kill a big bear. They were not familiar with drinks or menu options and served the wrong drinks at our table and looked at us as if we had two heads when we asked for the right ones. Food lasted almost an hour and we were the only ones in the building and when it came it was absolutely disgusting. How disgusting. This place may have been good in his happy day, but I ask you not to waste your time or money on such bad quality food with regrettable service. I was annoyed all night with the waste of money because we don't have the opportunity to go very often for a meal.

It is a converted living room that is funny and quirky and a little rough around the edges. The food was just great. I love Mexican food, I love Margaritas, that was a winner. The lady who leads the place is Ass.

The food was a bit dirty, the staff did not seem familiar with their jobs. the server was not aware of the wines or prices and even said he had not thought that he sold wine to the bottle.

Quite disappointed by the Purto Vallarta enchiladas, which was seafood (I believe), can shrimp and tastelessly crushed dry ****. I thought I was a newfoundland where it was supposed to be fresh? The Mexican rice and beef coolers on the side were delicious, but the fried beans... were cold and tasteless. Super friendly waitress in the restaurant was clean and quick to use.

Amazing mexican food, great atmosphere location. Service is top notch. We've visited for dinners only.,
