Suffice to say they loved it and all the food as well. Reservation needed on weekends. Service was good though a little slow at times but they always seem to have a full crowd for each grill. Tip your chef!
I got a number 17 and a purple rain. The onion soup was delicious and had more veggies than another popular Japanese steakhouse. Our chef was awesome, great showmanship and knowledgeable. I had to wait about 45 minutes because I didn’t have a reservation but it wasn’t that bad. I’ll definitely be back.
When i first sat down the lady was rushing me to tell her what i wanted to drink. The food was very delicious. Celebrated my mom 56th birthday.
It was nice. The floor was sticky, otherwise clean plus she was nice enough to give us some extra Andes. One thing you should know is the one at 16 and VanDyke I don't know about the rest but that is dinner all day on Sunday. There's no lunch. If you look to see the price difference you'll see that it is a lot cheaper for lunch.
12 plus years of coming here occasionally and it's always great. Lunch prices are unbeatable for having someone cook in front of you. The one woman here knows us very well and it's nice to see her. Now to those mad they added a gratuity to the bill, your the reason why they do it. I cannot tell you the amount of times I've witnessed people leave terrible tips or even try to not tip here at all. One incident four black gents were here for lunch time and after having given discounted meals and plates full of food and criticizing the chef the entire time telling him special request after request then complaints after complaints. I felt bad. Then they didn't tip and the manager said they gave them sonkuch extra and discounted and after harassing the chef they wouldn't leave a tip and they said tipping is optional. So good for them.
