Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónExceptional as always. Just got home from our second 'dinner after dark '. I 'm working from the top of the menu down because I want to try everything. Amazing atmosphere, fabulous food, and welcoming staff (thanks Dennis). We were made to feel totally comfortable with 3 young kids, and couldn 't recommend highly enough.
I visited Patch for the first time today with my 3 girls under 3yrs..and wow! Absolutely in love with this place! The outside area is fully enclosed, has a great cubby house and a chicken coop, which my twins just loved The service was fantastic the young man working this morning was super friendly and genuine, and even let my kiddos feed watermelon to the chickens! The coffee food is great, It was just a great experience all round highly recommended! 10/10
I did find a delicious lunch at a great place in Stirling called Patch – Kitchen and Garden The atmosphere is everything you would expect from the Adelaide hill in late winter; elegant established trees covered with delicate ivy, mossy stone work, flowers and leaves littering darkened soil. The service was excellent, the bearded waiter was very calm and didn’t make any attempt at deceptive enthusiasm and allowed me to initiate the conversation, I indicated my intentions of sitting outside and enjoying some lunch, he replied simply with “Excellent” and returned shortly with menus and some water. I had my laptop with me and he cleverly assumed that I was by myself and probably a writer, because he came with only 1 glass for the water. I ordered the warm chicken salad, I sat and wrote on my laptop, enjoying the sounds of children laughing in the distance and people enjoying jovial conversation to my right. There was a slight breeze, the air was pleasant and cool At one point the waiter approached and said “There are some tables out the front in the sun if you would like”, I said “Oh thanks but I quite like wearing my jacket, it’s very cosy”, he nodded and smiled. The salad itself was just what I wanted in my life. It was a winner. There were golden grilled chicken pieces with delicious hints of lemon and pepper. Roast pumpkin fused with mysteriously marvellous oil. Bitey and fresh Feta Cheese. Tasty, small portions of just perfectly cooked potato. All of this tied together with some fresh greens, glistening lightly with oil. The size of the meal was designed I believe because it was perfect, just as I finished I felt myself go “Yes, that is enough, any more may ruin such a good thing” I felt like a completely new man after eating it. The rest of the service was just as good as the salad. I told the waiter that I had felt like a new man after eating and he smiled with eyes closed, nodded and said “thankyou” and then left. Perfect service, especially if you like to arrive, eat and then leave without too much fuss, with nutrition and a fond memory resting within my stomach.
We hosted a private event at Patch, Ben Denis were so helpful and kept us all fed and watered throughout the afternoon. It was seamless, and the food was so amazing! Thank you all so much for helping out friend celebrate her wedding with a relaxed garden setting. Especially your ability to offer food for 5 allergies!
What a lovely surprise this place is. I loved the setting food and staff is so humble and sweet. Breakfast with freshest produce and killer coffee. A must try smoked salmon with eggs Going to be my stopover to Adelaide every time now
