They've kept some of the old design, especially at the side, then a pleasant area at the front, nice staff and reasonable prices for a reasonable beer range.

I've never given a bad review but the staff here where just unbelievably rude and having a good laugh together at customers expense.

Do yourself a favour and sit in the chilled aircon and chow down on a yummy panko schnitty! PS. The CC Dry pairs very well with the free nuts!

I used to live just across the road from this renovated pub. My partner and I always loved the food. Either a steak with a peppercorn sauce with steamed veggies...
