Unfortunately, the management, including Celina, and our waitress, Irene, did not seem to acknowledge our discomfort and offered little help in addressing the situation. Instead, we encountered rude behavior and an attitude that was quite off-putting. Eventually, we decided to leave, paying only for our drinks. Overall, the poor service was disappointing. I had hoped for a relaxing breakfast, but it instead felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Regrettably, we won't be returning. After over 30 years as loyal customers, we've decided to take our business elsewhere. We ended up at Jack Coffee Shop on Prater, and I highly recommend it for their amazing service and excellent food.

The management at Hobey's Casino Restaurant demonstrated poor customer service when they inquired about the delay in our breakfast order, despite the fact that we were waiting for two additional guests. As loyal customers for over 30 years, we anticipated a better level of care. Regrettably, it seems that Hobey's management values seating more customers over providing a positive dining experience for their guests. #DOBETTER! We are disappointed to part ways with a place we once enjoyed due to their inadequate café management.

Went to have breakfast and was sat at Hobey's Casino Restaurant this morning. Was having coffee with my family and was waiting for 2 more to arrive. Management was super upset that we were sitting drinking coffee for 10min then decided to say “when are your people arriving. We have more customers that would like to eat breakfast” (so are we not paying customers? ? We have been great consumers/ paying customers for over 30+ years for you guys! Your management needs customer service training ASAP! They don’t care about customer service. You have lost long time customers

Erica is often distracted on her phone behind the bar, and Virginia tends to walk right past you without offering to bring a drink.
