Barcelo's - Surrey

I waited a long time for my order at this restaurant. I was relieved when it finally arrived, but the wings were overly salty and seemed like they had been cooked days before. Additionally, the chicken legs were cold. I was also disturbed to hear dogs barking in the background. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

I ordered the chicken at this restaurant and was not satisfied. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been cooked in someone's dirty pants. I will be sending them the dry cleaning bill.

The service at this restaurant is quick and welcoming. The food is delicious, and I definitely plan on returning next time I'm in the area. The parking situation is also convenient.

Customer order on the switch, then take a table. the personal provides the meal times. server were friendly and attentive. the restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night. I'm not sure it's due to the construction next door. we will return.

I could not help but agree more with Kim that Barcelo's is way over priced. Having tasted Barcelos in SA where the franchise originates from it was no where close to the taste and a major disappointment which is a shame since the place has...really been done up nicely. My wife and I ordered 2 burgers and a side (Sandwich as they like to call here) and I was rather shocked to see a super thin, small slice of chicken in the burger and a slice of lettuce and tomato which would actually put the McDonalds chicken folder over wrap to shame because quite honestly even that is more tastier and filling. Mildly put that was the most flavourless tasteless burger i've ever had and after having spent just over 30$ for a 2x burgers with a side and drink one would expect a little bit more. Its not surprising why its so empty and there are hardly any customers. I don't see this place lasting long honestly. A) its super pricey (nearly 3 times the price than other barcelos comparatively) B) No taste what so ever Lack of original Barcelos sauces...they only had tangy lemon and mild peri peri) and those that have had Barcelos elsewhere will be alble to relate to that. I dont see myself ever returning back to Barcelos here after this experience and there are way better options in the area.
