The Duke's Head - Sutton

This was our first time staying at a Youngs hotel. We had a great dinner here and then spent the night in a beautifully decorated room. The hotel exceeded our expectations for its price range. There was ample parking and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. We will definitely be coming back!

This restaurant is a wonderful choice for a family Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is friendly and efficient, and there is a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from on the menu.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch on New Year's Day. The menu had a great variety of options including roasts, other dishes, and two specials. They even still had turkey dinner available! I decided to have the cauliflower soup, followed by the North Atlantic Meagre (a large sea bass), and finished with a delicious Pecan tart for dessert. My husband also had the soup, but went for the lamb roast which was a huge portion. We were served by two very friendly and helpful waitresses who took our orders quickly and our food arrived promptly. Despite a small mistake on the bill, which was fixed right away, we had a great time. We will definitely be returning for Sunday lunch in the future!

We had lunch outside in a heated wooden pod. We had use of sheepskin rugs, cushions and blankets. The heater kept us nice and warm, we used the App to order and ordered at the bar too… Service was great, polite, happy staff. Food was tasty, hot and presented well. We had the sharing platter and a child’s Mac and cheese, good size portions.. I would definitely go back and recommend to my friends and family..

Family of 9 1 in a large wheelchair. Excellent atmosphere, very welcoming. The table we were allocated was perfect almost like private dining. The food was excellent, good portions and extremely tasty. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Age range 8 76.
