To get past Taiping, you have to try these 30-year-old Cantonese styles Dim Sum. Famous dishes such as Big Pau, Char Siew Pau, Siew Mine Loh My Kai All with traditional styles taste. Must try if you fall to Taiping main road
Great dumplings, dim sum and pastries. We would go there every time we were in Taiping. Gai Sou would be a must. Gai Sou means chicken puff, but the filling is pork, not chicken.
The dimming sum is favorable compared to kl. Clean environment, good food. Although I think they would increase a bit more variation in their dimming cum menu would be a plus point :
Update 15 Nov This dimsum parlour is closing down in another two weeks or so. Owner is retiring due to old age, visit while you can Cool place to just chill alone and drink Chinese tea and have some bites Dimsum are just nice as it should, most of them are reserved at the morning, so either come earlier or call to reserve. Looking at the other unappreciative comments, just wonder what dimsum that they had regularly, Ive tried some famous one, eg fooheng, fooshan, Bfb, to name a few. In contrast, kumlong delivers a traditional taste compare to those you have in Ipoh or kl. You can't be comparing apple to orange. Also a jokester can't even differentiate the shop where he posted review for kongbeng under here, makes me wonder the genuitiy of these reviews, just not fair to these aged business. *kongbeng is another traditional dimsum in the town of tpg just 2 streets away from kumloong. aside from dimsum, kongbeng also offers cheongfan, soup noodles.
