Famous for biryani and other malabar dishes. Good place with good ambience and best catering service also.
We decided to try the famous Thalassery biriyani at this restaurant, quite popular with the locals and it was quite the hit and miss. The fish biriyani was nice but the chicken biriyani was quite dry. The fruity drinks were good. Quite disappointing dining experience.
Had went for dinner with my cousins. We had to wait for sometime for a table as the place was bit too crowded considering the weekend. Superb experience as far as food is concerned. I would say it was worth the wait. We ordered butter chicken, garlic chicken, chicken fried rice, parotta chapati. All items were good. Butter chicken stood out. Especially the gravy was super chicken pieces were well marinated. Kudos to the restaurant all chefs/staff members. Would definitely visit again.
This restaurant in Thalassery is the best. They have a large seating area with both A/C and non-A/C options. I have visited more than once for both lunch and dinner, but I recommend it for dinner as it gets very crowded during the day, especially for lunch. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. The Manchow chicken soup was the best I've had, and the biriyani, which they are famous for, was really yummy. They also offer a variety of chicken, mutton, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. One suggestion for the restaurant management is to keep the wash area cleaner, as it can be difficult to maintain cleanliness in a busy place, but the washrooms are an area that everyone notices.
