Chilworth Arms - Test Valley

I was extremely impressed with the lunch menu at this restaurant - there were great choices and it was excellent value for money. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, which was just what we were looking for. The high level of service from all the staff was outstanding, and we particularly enjoyed the friendly banter we had with Nina. Overall, it is a fantastic place to unwind with good company, great food, and service. We will definitely be returning.

We had a delightful lunch with friends at this restaurant. The 2-course lunch menu was fantastic. Nina, our waitress, provided excellent service with a great sense of humor. We will definitely be coming back.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and Tamla provided excellent service. We also enjoyed live music, which enhanced our evening even more.

Great food; we had the prawns, mushroom and calamari as starters. Lamb, linguine and sea bass for mains. All very tasty !! Could do with turning the heating on tho!

We wanted to have a late lunch out to celebrate our wedding anniversary, didn’t want a ‘chain’ pub or restaurant, looked the menu for the Chilworth Arms up online it sounded wonderful, and even better the menu online was the menu for that day so no disappointment on arrival. We were served by Kylie she was lovely (to be fair all the team were friendly) very attentive without being intrusive. We both had starters, one squid one mushrooms and both had the same main Pork Belly with scallops with the most amazing pineapple salsa. The gaps between the food was perfect, we weren’t rushed and at the same time we weren’t sat with empty plates in front of us, which actually meant we managed desserts! One sticky toffee pudding with ice cream an apple damson crumble which is probably one of the best crumbles I’ve ever had. It was the most perfect anniversary afternoon out, lovely food, lovely restaurant and lovely staff. We will be back for sure.
