Sarban - Tilburg

This place is awesome! I apologize for my lack of details on each dish, but I can only find the menu in Dutch : That being said, we didn't even look at a menu in the restaurant as we just got the chef's sampler multiple courses option for about $35 per person. I would highly recommend this option! It was a great spread of options and every single dish was amazing! We did not have any dietary restrictions so there were meat and vegetarian dishes alike, but they did ask if we did so I think they will be accommodating if you do! Would definitely recommend checking this place out :

Delightful staff. We ordered the surprise menu (chef 's choice) they were happy to accommodate one guest 's gluten sensitivity, and everything was delicious.

Sarban serves what I would believe is authentic Afghan food in a very friendly way. The service is attentive and they are eager to make everyone feel at ease. We sampled one of the set menus that is set-up to give a good introduction to Afghan food. There was plenty of food and the starters that were brought out first were really great and set a high level expectation for the rest of the dishes. The rest of the dishes were not bad but not at all up to the quality of the starters. A bit to dull and not spicy enough but not bad either. Desserts were good enough but not sure how Afghan they really were. We really got plenty of food and it seemed as if we could have gotten as much as we wanted as they several times checked if wanted more food. Price-wise it was still a bit more expensive than other comparable restaurants (not that there are other Afghan places I have seen in Tilburg but comparing to for example other Asian or Middle Eastern restaurants).

All vega to make. It's that with the surprise menu, it's just without the dishes of meat. Same price. That's too bad. But they like to think with you and they're very considerate and customer. And good. == sync, corrected by elderman ==

In the reservation, said there was a vegan in the group. There's a very good account. In the knowledge, everyone got the normal knowledge menu and I got the vegan versions of that. It was really delicious! The staff is very sweet and explaining What you eat. This is definitely where I go more often, it can recommend anyone from the review at 2022-04-11.
