Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have never in my life experience such a disgusting experience like I did last night with an owner of a restaurant. This 300+ lb old man had the nerve to go up to my 4 year old autistic son and tell him about his behavior. Now if he would of let me know this would of been a different situation but no he decided to be unprofessional and go up to a child. The situation escalated to much that police had to be called. Some lady that was sitting with him called me ‘cula’ because I wanted to remove my some from the situation and place him in the car while the police got there. I was denied a refund which I will now have to go thru the bank.
This is an excellent Mexican Bakery. I love their pink bread and Cream Cheese Empanadas. Everything is good and fresh. They are know for their excellent tortillas. The service is top notch. Any delays is usually because the customer being serviced is deciding what to get when it is their turn instead of anticipating while waiting in line. If there is anything I would complain about is that they are usually low on product after 10:00am. Get there early or you may have a limited selection of product. If they make their iced cookies, you have to get some, they are delicious. On Saturdays they make barbacoa tacos that are very good. Their prices are very reasonable. Highly recomended.
The food that I've ordered online and had delivered to my house was delicious. As such, when my daughter and her boyfriend came down from Austin for a visit, I thought it would be nice to treat them to dinner. We each ordered separate dishes. My daughter's and my dish were sub par, but still not bad enough for us to make a fuss. However, the boyfriend's dish, which was the one that I recommended, was not palatable at all. And it indeed did not taste like the same dish that I previously enjoyed. It was definitely something that needed to be sent back. Usually, in most restaurants it's customary for the server to approach the table shortly after the food had been brought out to see if everything was to the customers' liking. Nothing of the sort happened here. There was no server in sight, despite the restaurant being almost empty. After at least 10 minutes of waiting my daughter set out to find someone who could alert our server that there was a dish that needed to be sent back. And that's when all hell broke loose. Instead of fetching our server, the manager came out. (Never mind that we never requested the manager in the first place. And when we tried to explain that the fish did not taste fresh and was unpalatable he immediately went into a tirade about how other people enjoyed that same dish without complaint, and proceeded to imply that we were the ones at fault for failing to enjoy a dish made with fish that was beginning to spoil. He was determined to keep arguing with us. He refused to remove the dish from our ticket. In addition, he refused to even bring us the check after we made that request at least 4 or 5 times. Seeing that this person was beyond the capability of reasonable thought and rational behavior, and that he persisted in insulting us, I felt that I had no other choice than to get up and leave the establishment in order to avoid further escalation.
Delicious combination of flavors and fresh products! From their freshly squeezed limes for the micheladas, that are delicious by the way, to the freshly chucked oysters, and the great customer service! Will definitely comeback
Service, food and atmosphere was great worth the drive from Midland. Our waitress Yari was amazing and on top of making a great experience for us to come back again. Hopefully we get one in Midland.
