The meal we had at El Tenedor exceeded our expectations and surpassed any other dining experiences we have had in the past two years, including meals in Melbourne and Penang, Malaysia. We started with two appetizers, one with scallops and the other with smoked salmon, both of which were incredibly delicious and made with fresh, organic ingredients. For our main courses, I enjoyed the fish in papillote while my partner loved the short ribs. The menu had a good variety of options, including seafood, fish, vegetarian dishes, and red meat. The chef recommended a fantastic Italian wine that complemented our meal perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised with a special dessert to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere of the restaurant reminded us of a cozy bistro in the Pyrenees, and the little patio area was a nice touch, although the air conditioning from inside made it feel like we were in the south of Spain. We are looking forward to returning to El Tenedor for another special occasion soon.

From the warm personal greeting, to the intimate atmosphere, to the creative and delicious courses (completely up to the chef/owner we had no idea what we’d be eating until each course was served), to the wine pairings, to the top shelf table service, to the music, to the… you get the idea.At some fine restaurants, you get great food and service but for some reason it’s not so easy to find joy in the experience. At El Tenedor, my wife and I found ourselves smiling and laughing, simply because the combination of it all made us so HAPPY! Five stars doesn’t say enough for how good this place is.

We were so impressed with the quality of food and many delicious flavors, presentations and the very nice and friendliness by the chef ceaser and Abraham. They made our anniversary dinner incredibly special. Highly recommend this establishment.
