I was recommended a sandwich and soup combo: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. So, I tried it out and it's definitely more superior than a regular slice of bread with cheese. You have a variety of melt cheeses in two deliciously soft bread, I think it has provolone, cheddar, ricotta, maybe cream cheese? But regardless, just a large blend of cheeses melted into one.Tomato soup goes great to dip your sandwich in. A lovely spot to grab a bite to eat!
This was a very cute and quaint little spot to have a bite to eat and with the big glass windows we sat by there were also beautiful views of downtown and lots of people watching as I ate my food. It seemed to be a very popular spot at lunch and filled up very quickly while we were there.
They put their foot in this food. OmG ?The Big Phil was very filling yet light and busting with flavor. The Cesar salad was huge and tasted like heaven with croutons. Last but not least, the basil tomato soup tastes like it came from mom's kitchen. To sum up my visit, I WILL BE BACK!!!!!!
The shrimp toast was absolutely delicious! I have ranted and raved about this food to everyone I know! I will definitely be returning soon!
My husband and I were on a road trip. We toured the state capitol and then, on the recommendation of a capitol worker, went to Basil's Cup. I ordered a garden salad with ranch dressing and my husband ordered The Phil with a bag of chips. The salad came with garlic bread. The Phil came with brown gravy, but it really didn't need it. The sandwich was pretty big. The food was very good. It's a about 3 blocks from the capitol building.
