Lou Macari's Fish Chips - Trafford

Traditional fish chips at the gates of old Trafford. Everything delicious, good prices. Very large portions.

Our pre match meal was OK and had always wanted to check this place out...only negative really was the chicken and mushroom pie didn't have much mushroom in it but the chips and curry sauce were pretty decent and a good portion. Struggled to find a spot to eat it but all part of the experience sitting alongside some stoners! Staff were nice and the prices again are average which is good.

The fish and chips served here on matchdays are of very good quality and price. The fish is not greasy and the chips are fresh. It is worth waiting in the queue for and one of the best chippies on the road.

Many chip shops to choose from along this stretch of road and around the corner as you approach Old Trafford. Observe people eating chips round and about and enquire where they bought them from. Consequently Lou Macari's... great chips proper fish shop chips not refried frozen or chiese chip shop.

Great quick snack before the game at Old Trafford! This establishment is ready to serve the masses, so don't expect anything high end. Besides that, the experience was rather nice potato wedges were kinda soaked in oil, but the fish was quite good.
