Chibi-ya - Trier

Chibi-ya is run by japanese enthusiasts and it certainly shows, the restaurant is rather unique and offers a great experience. The staff itself is very friendly and welcoming.The restaurant mostly specializes on a few select dishes around rice, so do not expect a massive selection of japanese food. That said, all the dishes are made with much care and good products. The place itself is rather small but has a lot of charm, you mostly sit directly at the counter or on a table on the second floor. The counter itself is very neat and like already mentioned unique.The dishes themselves are excellent and definitely worth for anyone who likes japanese food, not like other asian places that offer all the generic asian dishes. One of the dishes that I definitely recommend is the Gyuoden.Prices are decent, a bit higher but personally it's worth the experience.The only downside is that it can the place can be crammed in during certain hours and the food can take some time if the locale is filled with customers. This is an ideal place to have a nice quick lunch with colleagues, not necessarily suited for long stays.

Das Chibi-ya ist die optimale Lösung wenn man in der Stadt ist und der Hunger einen Quält. Hier kann man ruhig einkehren und in eine andere Welt abtauchen. Oh und selbst die mittlere Portion macht richtig satt.

Solch ein Restaurant gibt es sonst nicht in Trier. Es beginnt bei der Bestellung am Automaten, an dem man die Bestellung aufgibt und gleich zahlt. Perfekt, dann muss keine Bedienung mit dreckigem Geld hantieren. Doch leider habe ich so auch vergessen, Trinkgeld zu geben, das sich das Personal wirklich verdient hat.Die Karte ist übersichtlich, was gut ist, denn dann ist alles schön frisch. Für Vegetarier gibt es wenig Auswahl, doch der Reis mit Gemüse in Currysauce war wirklich gut. Schön ist auch, dass man die Tellergröße bestimmen kann. S, M oder L, man hat die Wahl. Ich persönlich finde das gut, weil ich so ungern etwas zurück gehen lasse, das weggeworfen wird. Also ich wurde mit M satt und habe alles bis aufs letzte Reiskorn gepackt.

Ich bin eine große Freundin von diesem japanischem Essen!Selten bekommt man was anderes japanisches außer Sushi in Trier zu essen.Hier schon und es ist echt toll! Der Lachs mit Terrijakisauce ist sehr gut!Putzig ist das Bezahlsystem am Automaten. Man kann in die Küche reinkucken und beim Kochen zusehen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Man fühlt sich in dem Laden total wohl,als würde man bei dem leckeren essen an der theke mit anderen sitznachbarn in der kleinen Welt dazu gehören.Japan auf den punkt gebracht mit Essen und allem drum herum.weiterso ihr lieben :)
