I am local, I enjoyed it when it is opened on the 1st, but in running the time they can see that he cut corners to save cost. never return or recommend
Amazing food, fresh, delicious, couldn’t fault it. Staff run off there feet with orders and still managed to get our order out in time and accurate and really yummy. The coral trout and the lamb were spectacular. Can’t wait to go back and eat there. Kid approved
Grossly understaffed. Long wait for service. Poor service.Presented with the wrong meal twice. Overcooked fish chips. Unedible. After complaining we still had to pay in full minus 1 drink each. We are locals. Will not be returning or recommend this place.15th Jan. 2021.
The name maybe a little deceptive, but if you are looking for authentic Greek this is the place.Harry the owner uses his Mum's recipes to create meals that remind me of those roadside taverns in Greece. His taramosalata and tzanziki are made from scratch. His souvlaki is a fillet, not the cheap Giros meat normally associated with a souva place. The chargrilled prawns in confit tomato are juicy and sweet. To top it off he also makes Greek flavoured ice-cream in his place next door.Trinity Beach is a hidden gem in FNQ, these new eateries will put this place on the map for quality food. We'll be back to test drive the lamb shoulder, spanakopita and eggplant chips!
The batter was alright, crumb was burnt and the chips were underdone. As for the calamari it was nearly inedible as the crumbs were almost black. It seems like they cook everything for the same legnth of time hense why the batter was good and everything that takes longer to cook then battered fish was underdone whereas everything that doesn't take as much time as batter was overdone. Along with this, you can expect premium prices buying here.
