Whenever I visit this location, there is always one staff member who greets me warmly and we share a few laughs, making me feel welcome. However, I do miss the previous operating hours. I used to go around 6 in the evening and that was when my favorite staff member worked. In the past 4 months, I have only been twice, whereas I used to visit 2-3 times a week because Subway is my favorite fast food restaurant. Please return to your original hours and I will give you 5 stars.
The staff at the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly. However, they made a big mistake with my order. I ordered a turkey sandwich with bacon, and they offered to add an extra serving of turkey for an additional $3, along with two cookies. I accepted the offer, but when I arrived back at the train station, I realized that my sandwich was missing the bacon, mayonnaise, and cookies that I had requested. Despite not receiving everything I paid for, I was still charged the extra $3. Spending over $13 on a sandwich that was not even tasty and was made incorrectly was disappointing.
The staff at this restaurant is generally friendly. However, I would not recommend using the app to order from this location, as they do not read the orders properly. I ordered a Spicy Italian sandwich during my lunch break through the app, but when I walked to the restaurant and back to the office, I found that the sandwich was completely dry. It only had meat and cheese, even though I had requested veggies and sauces to be added.
It?s a SUBWAY, and it meets expectations. The staff treats regulars very well until the manager walks in to help, and then the regulars just become faces in the crowd, asking about upsell items that I haven?t wanted for the past three years that I?ve been coming here. I get it, I just don?t love that part. Let these employees do their thang.
If you're in a hurry I wouldn't recommend this subway sad to say, most locations I've been to are efficient expeditious in getting your order right. It was a weekday, Tuesday around 2:30p.m., there was no one else in the establishment at the time, yet the girl still got it wrong had to remake my simple Sandwich only order(btw, the manager was at the register at the time watched the horrible service) sandwich was delicious as always, yet I would not return, I'd go to Brueggers Bagels next door on my next trip downtown as they consistently deliver friendly, efficient, quality service every time. If I'm spending $15 for a medium tea footlong roasted chicken sandwich I expect better service.
