Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI had heard great things about Schoolhouse Coffee, so I decided to make the trip from Bundaberg to give it a try. Let me just say, this place serves the best coffee I have ever had in Queensland! The blend they offer is truly exceptional and I can only hope that Tim Adams will consider opening a second Schoolhouse location in Bundy, as we don't have any cafes that offer such high-quality coffee like they do here in Hervey Bay. Rebecca, the barista, made me a wonderful latte that was so good, I had to order a second one. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Schoolhouse.
The small predominately take away coffee facility is run and operated at hours such as early mornings and allows for take away
Also went to go for a mid afternoon coffee - place was closed with no explanation why. It was around midday. Have they closed permanently? Don't waste your time finding this place
Really I cannot comment on this cafe, except to say that they were not open when I arrived for my 3.15pm pick-me-up. No message, no nothing. Just shut. Very disappointing when I made the effort to do a coffee run for my staff.
We were encouraged to visit this place due to the "fantastic coffee" served there. The reality was somewhat different. Two blends of beans were available; Primary and Secondary. When we walked in we were studiously ignored for almost 10 minutes, presumably to let us 'enjoy' the décor of the unit. Long bench-type tables with uncomfortable stools to sit on plus a blackboard at the far end of the room, hence the reference to School House. The coffee was indifferent and the social life of the barista interacting with another customer was far more important than serving us. Most of the food options had gone (just after lunchtime) so we couldn't eat. The coffee was ok but not exceptional and we won't be rushing back.
