I like it. I order the chicken teriyaki. That fills one up. I've also had the Bibimbop. It's good.
Horrible! They don't ever want to give you extra teriyaki sauce. I was even willing to pay them $5 and she said no lol.
I’ve been a Soy Grill regular for years now, usually patronizing the Sunnyside and Mall 205 locations. I have gotten consistently amazing service and food every single time I go there!! It’s one of my staple eat-out spots.I found myself in Vancouver and saw that there was a location up there so I decided to call in for takeout my usual spicy chicken fried rice. When I got my food, I was met with the first red flag: normally I just put the teriyaki sauce on at the restaurant with the bottles they have for customer use. This location hid the teriyaki sauce behind the counter and was reluctant to let me use it, it seemed. The main point of this review came when I opened my take out container to put the teriyaki sauce on it. The portion size was laughably smaller than what I was accustomed to from the other locations, but I thought maybe I was just bitter and biased from the teriyaki sauce stinginess. It was heavy on my mind on my way home, heavy enough that I got petty. Real petty.I called in a takeout order for the exact same thing from my usual Mall 205 store and bypassed my exit to go pick it up. As soon as I opened it to put the sauce on, my suspicions were validated!! I took them both home and actually WEIGHED THEM! I’m glad I did, because the portion size was much more different than what I had thought. The Vancouver location’s portion size was almost 1 WHOLE POUND less than the normal portions I was used to, at the same price (if not more with sales tax). Yes I took pictures, yes they are attached. So, let this be a word of warning that you’re not getting your money’s worth if you visit this location, you would be better off crossing the river. I gave it two stars instead of one, solely because the food was decent.
Ask for extra sauce if you like your Chicken Teriyaki saucy. It was good, but sauce was sparse and very thin.Nice staff, and order was ready quickly.
