Mica's Kitchen - Vashon

Mika truly deserves the full 5 stars. Literally everything I've had there blows me away. Went in for the Burton Buns (my absolute favorite) and ended up with a variety of guava, plum and apple scones for a gathering of friends and my friends are foodie and picky... her scones are just perfectly moist on the inside with a light crunch on the outside. Consistently amazing.

We wanted to try Mica's Kitchen but it was never open. It states that the hours were updated 3 months ago but they did t open on the Friday we were on the island.

The owner is very kind. We stopped by on Labor day and it was closed. She was so nice to make us coffee anyway.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. Literally everything I've had is amazing. The Burton Bun is to die for, crisp, buttery layers; biscuits are perfectly flavorful, moist and fluffy inside with the perfect, slightly crunchy edge. Scrumptious.

Sweet lady running the shop, she had a bunch of catering so the front didn't have much but the scones are a must try!
