Verdun isn't overflowing with pastry shops and this one isn't particularly close to the touristy area, but if you have the means to get to it, give it a whirl....

We group of 8 people came at 14.00 but we were pretty rudely told that lunch was over ! and that we could only chose from the counter. Only cakes and sweet stuf...

First we only came to get some bread in bakery but after seeing all the selection of pastry and cakes we couldn't resist to have some. We don't speak any french...
