The good points were nice clams and and octopus was OK. The waiters were of no help with the menu and we ordered some really dodgy tapas cod tongue which was too salty, pigs ears which were all grissle. To get any service...you have to wave and ask the waiters multiple times. Even getting the bill takes 10 minutes and then I had to go into the kitchen to get the waiter! They have no idea of acceptable behaviour in the restaurant. They allowed a drunk with no shirt to dine he was more interested in trying to start a fight with the other diners.

It is difficult to browse a Canadian, but our server has worked hard to succeed. Apart from the fact that he smells like three days old hockey equipment, he was rude, sued and released that he would not even make eye contact when he gave us the machine to pay the check. My wife speaks good Portuguese and she was respectful and happy. It wasn't him. The location is the heart of a tourist area and I would have expected better, even as a Canadian would normally be. I rarely write reviews and that's bad for my fist. Do not go there if there are dozens of alternatives nearby. For our part we went 25 minutes to enjoy Dessert and a port at Concept 31, where we had a fabulous experience only 2 days before. And here I sit...

We first saw the yellow facade of this place as we got off the water taxi from the opposite shore. The alley at its side was the way to the port caves uphill. We were pleasantly surprised that this was a delicious restaurant serving Portuguese...cuisine. Outside seating may br limited during peak times but inside seating is also great with a view of the river. The food is good the waiters friendly and efficient and the house wine satisfies. They also have a dessert buffet.

My wife and I had lunch here during a three day stay in Porto; it was the best experience we had among a number of good restaurants that we visited. The setting on the river side., looking across to the city, is very pleasant and...the quality of the food and service were really excellent; the octopus and the pork with clams are highly recommended

Can't say enough about the service and the food was fantastic. Had the garlic shrimp appetizer and the grilled meat platter for two. My brother and his wife had the roast lamb which was unbelievably tender. No room for the dessert buffet. Highly recommend.
