Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAs always the food was very good, as was the service. The only gripe we had was with unexpected charges. We were offered bread and dips pre order and gladly accepted. The disappointment came with the bill, noticing that we’d been charged £3 for this. Similarly, there was a service charge added for just 2 covers that came to over £5. I can’t see this on their website or menu. Tables of 6 or more I can understand but this is a little out of order for my liking. It just takes the edge off a very pleasant experience. The owner can cover these charges in other ways that wouldn’t put some customers off.
We are regular visitors as we knew the owner from many years at Rinaldis. We often get emails offering 20% off which means we can come more regularly. Last night there was some confusion over the 20% and we were charged for 2 course meals which we hadn’t had. We had shared a garlic tomato bread and had 3 pizzas. We queried the bill but it was as though they didn’t want to give us it. As a result, the young girl tried to sort it and even though the bill was cheaper than the previous bill, £6.15 service charge had been added. We’ve been coming here since the restaurant opened and I’ve never been charged service charge as I always leave a tip. So in the end the 20% was a waste of time and was barely a saving. The stress of sorting it all out was such a hassle so won’t be going now. There was an older guy there who may have been the manager but he didn’t say anything about it. When we left, nobody said goodbye or thank you. Disappointing.
Excellent place for food! The mushroom starter was delicious would recommend. The pizzas were lovely! Staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Popped into the pizzeria without a booking as we were passing by on a wonderfully sunny evening. Table for two was made available straight away. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had the opportunity to watch the chef prepare our pizza and watch it cook in the wood fuelled pizza oven. The pizza was amazing. My partner had the tagliatelle with king prawns which was excellent. Enough flavour throughout but not too much to overpower the actual taste of the prawns
