Oceano - Waltham Forest

Came all the way out here as we were excited to try some authentic Portuguese food. Arrived at 8:15 PM on a Friday evening and the place was completely closed with the shutter down, even though it says it's currently open until 11 PM. Very disappointed we wasted our time

2nd time visiting this local little gem! Loved all our food. Sadly didn’t take pictures of everything but this octopus salad was 10/10

Excellent food and service. We were welcomed like kings, the food was perfect. Only thing missing was the Venezuelan flag (inside joke) for the owner.

If the chef is Portuguese, fire them. If not, send them to Portugal to learn what Portuguese food looks and tastes like. Worst attempt at cooking food from my country I ever tasted.
