Rinaldo's Casa Cucina - Wangaratta

Book here for a special night when visiting the opposite great location and location. menu certainly had many possibilities. very friendly and attentive staff. all our dishes were well plated and were full of taste. good wine selection, especially for local wines. what. which was made even more special at night that they celebrated on the table next to us the 89th birthday of their mother on the next Sunday, which was the same date of my partner birthday. we spoke briefly with them and when they left the daughter, she put a $50 note under the bottle of wine. for his birthday she said to me when they left. how amazing was that?! truly, the world has some beautiful people in it, and in this night some of them were in wangaratta!

Beautiful place, but it was super hot when we arrived, so were unpleasant. a ventilator or split systems would have been switched on well as we sat in the inner next to the pizza oven. we eat in many amazing restaurants and. the menu for rinaldos saw fab in the reality, eating here was just right. everything was missing from salt (I also saw another table asking for salt), but the biggest annoyance was the bad table service. While it was great to see the restaurant busy many young people, they were super inconspicuous and I found myself constantly calling out or looking to make eye contact. my partner had only a beer during dinner and had the wait staff more, we would have bought a few more. our table was constantly released with plates/seals and no one came to collect them for the net until I asked them. I would often see the waiting staff standing and do nothing if they were to confuse tables etc. the host was a nice man who did his best to train the staff when he saw that they ignore simple things like the provision of new cutlery etc. it would still be a nice place to eat with eating ok, but service needs improvement.

We were recommended to try here from a local weingut and were not disappointed. this was our second visit and we were very satisfied with our meal and service. the view over the river apartments is beautiful.

Great pasta, had the gnocchi ragu and the pappardelle with creamy mushrooms and shaved truffle. Unfortunately we couldn’t get a reservation, but had take away twice. Good for business being booked solid, but we would’ve liked to eaten in, so book early.

A must to visit. Pleasantly surprised when stopped to have lunch with my family. All dishes were 5 stars, flavour combo amazing. Thanks Adam. Adam greeted and said goodbye-that was touching. Waitress-very lovely, view-beautiful. Value for money. Have not had such beautiful food in Melbourne...for a long time. DEFINITELY COMING BACK!
