Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI was not aware of other dining options at the Diggers Club, so I ended up eating here. I decided to try the fisherman's basket and it was the worst I've ever had. It seemed like it was straight from the freezer and deep-fried. I doubt it was even real seafood. The salad was dry and flavorless. I will not be coming back to this restaurant again.
Ordered the Chicken and Avocado Melt. Totally unedible the chicken was so over cooked by microwave it was dry stringy and very hard to swallow. Not a menu item I would reccommend. I sent the meal back after attempting to eat a quarter of the...meal.
Had a great meal here and it was really worth money. drinks are also cheap. enjoyed a huge buck plug that was cooked to perfection. worth a visit. w will definitely eat here on our return.
I stayed at the Mercure hotel for 5 nights and ordered food 3 times during my stay. Unfortunately, the customer service was poor on all 3 occasions and the wait time for the food was quite long. One night, I ordered 2 pizzas - a veggie melt and chicken nuggets. I requested for the food to be delivered to my room and also asked for a coffee while I waited. Despite being the only person in the restaurant, the meals took an unusually long time to arrive. When a staff member from the kitchen brought out the food, she placed it on the counter instead of bringing it to my room. I explained that I had requested for it to be delivered and she argued that it was not part of the order. After expressing my disappointment, the server apologized and suggested that I could take the food to my room myself. However, the kitchen staff member, who I believe was named Sandra, rudely questioned if she had to pack it in boxes now. I insisted that it would be easier to transport the food in boxes and she reluctantly went back to the kitchen to get them. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and aggression displayed by Sandra. The veggie melt was bland and the pizza was mediocre. I urge the management of Mercure to address the issue of rude staff like Sandra and improve their customer service. In comparison, Banjos was a much better dining option and where I chose to dine for the remainder of my stay.
We had some great meals at this restaurant while staying at the Mercure hotel. On our first night, we arrived 10 minutes before closing time, which can be a challenge at most places. However, Nero's welcomed us with a smile, took our order, and allowed us to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the service was excellent. The next morning, we had breakfast and it did not disappoint. Thanks to the Nero team for being so hospitable.
