¡Finalmente buenos camareros!
Went to lunch on 2. January 2023. chose this restaurant because our last experience 2 years ago was that the hamburger was for to die. The hamburger and chicken burger we have on the 2nd. January had, was nothing like the previously experienced tariff; certainly...not worth the price of $21.00. Make sure that the photos of food on their website are photos of the food they served 2 years ago. not the food they currently serve. I'm sure a hamburger from McDonalds would have much better and much cheaper. My wife had the chicken burger with a deep fried chicken. I had a bite that tasted fat. she had digestion 3 hours after meal. very disappointing.
I ordered the classic benny and it came quite raw and the sauce was not hollandaise, but an art runny yolk mess. I ate some of them and knew that this would not end well, although my friend ordered a blt he said.
So I was in this restaurant over the years and always had a few dishes I found again for and a lot of other dishes just ok. I went to the festival twice a month. Once with the family and once... for a quick bite. Both times were quite terrible. When it was the family meal, we had dry small portions of fish that were not very delicious. The shells were fine. The time I had seafood soup and fish and chips. No single piece of seafood was in the box. None. I complained and was told they would give me $3 from my food bill. We used to come for the fish-chowder, but have stopped now as there are no seafood in the bowl. Never
I was here once before because of their offer gluten-free fish and chips. This experience was only marginally better, as I ordered myself to eat on the beach. This time went with a friend after a walk in the Lighthouse Park....Since the afternoon @4:20) we decided to share and order the fish and chips and drinks. The waitress informed us that her shift ended by 5 and she would serve us until then. Unfortunately for my friend when he ordered drinks, they were all made of beer except IPA! The waitress mentioned something about everyone who order beer to go to a scorching day in Vancouver the afternoon. I decided to have Sangria, and so my friend decided to have the same. The waitress brought out two glasses of slightly cool water and disappeared. We haven't seen them for 20 minutes when we reminded them that we ordered Sangria and asked for a water filling. Another 15 minutes and our food appeared, but no Sangria yet. We ate our food and prepared to go when another waitress with 2 Sangrias appeared and said she had to do a lot and they were on the house. We said thank you and drank the drinks and asked for the bill. Yup, you thought it was 20 minutes before we finally got a machine to pay the bill. In total, we counted 4 tables and 4 employees. Because the service was really inevitable.
Just had brunch here 3 of us service (Justin) was perfect. He turned on outdoor heaters for us and although we arrived early (before opening) he was accommodating. This is the very best brunch we have found in West Van (and we have...tried them all). Eggs benedict are done as ordered (and not a crapshoot) with real roasted potatoes and a fresh salad. The Spanish omlette and huevos rancheros also get rave reviews. Endless hot coffee and lovely mimosas. This will be our only place for meals. And we can walk which is lovely. Great experience all around!!
