Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were seated promptly, but it took quite a while for our waitress, Robyne, to greet us—her only table. In fact, she came to us with her notepad, asking for our food and drink orders, which suggested she realized we had plenty of time to review the menu. There was no apology for her delayed greeting. After I placed my order, I made sure to confirm that she noted it correctly, as I've had issues in the past with proteins being omitted. Unfortunately, she would later claim she repeated our orders back to us while writing them down. Our next interaction with Robyne, the owner, happened at least 50 minutes later, when young servers finally brought us our drinks while Robyne was off doing anything but checking on us. Again, we received no apology for the wait. Her cheerful but unprompted explanation for the delay was, "the burgers have to cook five minutes on each side," as if that justified our nearly hour-long wait. She ended up bringing my boyfriend the completely wrong meal, creating an awkward situation when he pointed it out. Still, there was no apology. Another server brought him his food when the rest of our party was finishing. We're not the type to complain or ask for handouts, but this seemed like a fitting occasion to have my boyfriend's meal taken off the bill. Afterward, I approached Robyne at the ice cream counter to calmly express our disappointment, as it seemed she was unaware of any issues. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, she insisted that the reason for the long wait was that only one burger was ordered at our table and that our choices were too complicated—typical breakfast items, one burger, and one special. This reasoning confused me, and it felt like she was too embarrassed to admit she might have forgotten to put our order in while she was busy with "owner things" behind the scenes. Her dismissive attitude felt unprofessional, and she was unwilling to accept any accountability for our overall disappointing experience. Robyne did offer us free ice cream after our conversation, but still refused to admit any fault. In fact, this was the first time in my life that I did not leave a tip—unless you count the $3 fee for not paying with cash, which made our total $89 for four people. I’m uncertain if we will return, especially since prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes have shrunk. It's quite disappointing. Edit: I see that the owner responds to all Google reviews, both good and bad. I hope she will be respectful, honest, and not dismissive of our experience in her reply, as we were polite in voicing our concerns. If our situation had been handled cordially, I wouldn't have felt the need to write this review.
I had an excellent experience at the restaurant, and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend it!
This is a spacious and casual breakfast and lunch venue located in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, it seems we caught our server on a particularly bad day, as we encountered several service issues that I suspect other tables did not experience. Because of this, I find it difficult to accurately assess the food. That being said, I may consider returning at another time in hopes of a more positive experience.
This place is a gem. It is one of the coolest breakfast spots we have found. The food was really great (get the Maple Pull Apart appetizer! . The atmosphere was everything. From adult coloring opportunities to questions to ask your table members for fun, it was just an experience. The baby cow barn was so sweet but know it smells like poop, as you would expect. Clearly the animals are well loved and the place was just special.
Really great place for brunch! Family friendly with really yummy food maple iced coffee. Best corned beef hash I’ve ever had. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
