Panera Bread - Wichita

I ordered a flatbread meal and a cup sweet soup and it was all so fresh and hot! it was all so delicious. I'm thrilled to try more from your menu!

I ordered from the app for car pickup. I have learned that they have to wait 5 minutes or so after ordering before they meet the i’m here’ taste on the app, or otherwise they will never get the alarm. I ordered during the parking lot, so I touched it immediately after I had ordered. Unfortunately, as I pushed it too early, I waited for over 50 minutes before they realized that they either did not receive my order or did not know that I was waiting. I called, and the manager said they didn't get the alarm that I was there, but the manager made me friendly fresh food. the manager (I think it was the same person) wore a mask when he delivered my food to my car. COVID-19 procedures seem ok. I only went into the foyer type area so I might have missed it, but it seemed no tables marked for social distancing. there were signs that demand masks and talk about cleaning. there were also stickers on the floor for social distancing during in order. I have seen more detailed procedures for social distancing at other companies.

If you have a favorite bagel that you want to make sure is available, I suggest visiting early in the day or calling ahead to check. I live four hours away from the nearest Panera Bread, and unfortunately they were out of the two bagels I usually order. The young female employee was very apologetic and went out of her way to help me choose other items to use our gift card on.

We spent over $35 on two sandwiches and drinks at Panera Bread, but the food was not worth it. Our order was completely wrong and the quality has declined over the past 10 years. I used to be a big fan, but I will not be returning anytime soon due to the high prices and poor quality.

Don't waste your time or money on the mozzarella pepperoni melt... It's awful. I get better pizza at the gas station. It DOES NOT even resemble the advertisement. $10.50 for this? Yeah, nope.
