Fantastic food and excellent service! I dined in for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. The food deserves a perfect score of 5, as did the service. The atmosphere was quite nice, rating a 4.

"Sometimes things just happen. Occasionally, a restaurant might lose a reservation for six people, but that was not the case at No.1 Bistro! The staff were lovely and chatty, and the food was excellent and perfectly portioned. I started with the gin-infused salmon, followed by the traditional haddock and chips. A casual remark from one of our group about my favorite wife's birthday the next day prompted a delightful surprise: a plate decorated with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate and accompanied by absolutely stunning white and milk chocolate cubes. It was a Monday night, so the restaurant wasn’t too busy, which worked out well for us Sassanachs. I would highly recommend this place (just remember to double-check your reservation)!"

The evaluation of the food is strictly limited to what I ate, of course. Strange fact , we go in for lunch, we are told CLOSED and he shows us other fast food restaurants in the area. We go out, check the directions on our inseparable cell phone, and we realize that the restaurant opened after 1 minute, retracing our steps, we sat down and were greeted by a grumpy but nice waiter Food: 3

Very charming old style hotel restaurant. I got a seat in the bar (with the dog under the table) and was excellently served and looked after. The dog too . The menu was varied and the food was excellent and the staff very humorous. I had Cullen Skink (very tasty) as a starter, then a great risotto with peas and fried cabbage. Chokeberry crumble for dessert was almost too much, but who can resist? Highly Recommended! Service: Dine in
