The staff and food at Ciro always exceed expectations. I highly recommend trying the pre-selected courses with wine pairings - they have never let me down. The dishes are made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the menu is creative and constantly changing.
The food and service were excellent. The vegetables were notably fresh and tasted like they came straight from the farm. Every dish was well-prepared and seasoned perfectly. The atmosphere was simple but cozy, making it a pleasant place to eat. We dined early to catch a movie afterwards, so there were only a few other diners in the restaurant. Overall, we had a great meal and a wonderful dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan on returning in the future.
No real options other than the price fix menu were given. Food was ok but not great. The green beans served with the lamb were inedible. Wine was totally overpriced and they didn't even provide a bucket of ice to keep it cold. Service was not great and the back part of the restaurant and bathroom were dirty and unkept. I would not go back.
We wanted to try this restaurant for a long time and finally went. We were very disappointed. We choose the chefs 4 course and wine paring. The waitress was very vague as to what the menu was. My experience with chef courses, that there is a menu detailing the courses or the waitress had the menu memorized. First course was good followed by a cheap piece of cod, next was a lamb dish when I was told it “might” be steak. Not a big fan of lamb and if I was told this I would not selected the pairings. The dessert dish was good. The wine pairing was way over priced as to what you got. First wine did not arrive until after food came. After that the glasses shrunk and the pours were stingy. The restaurant was under staffed and the service was lacking. Seemed that there was only one waitress. I watched the manager as he never interacted or helped his frantic staff. And he was the one who recommended the chefs tasting. I will not be back.
