We also had the cheesecake for dessert, which was small but very rich and filling. The price was very reasonable for everything. Our server was very sweet and personable. The service was slow but she explained that they were having a problem with the computer; not her fault! The atmosphere was homey and comfortable. We left full and happy!
Best pot roast in New England among many other great menu selections.
I'm really not sure why this place has such good ratings. It's nice they offer a cheese table. The rolls were tasty and then it all went down hill with our meals. I asked for my steak medium well when I got it it was rare blood was oozing out of it. I sentit back with my rice and green beans. They brought it back and it looked like it was just seared in the middle because it wasstill bleeding on both sides. Not only that but some how my rice turned into mashed potatoes. Our waitress was friendly but shewas SO slow. We definitely would not go back here. I'm being generous with the 2 stars
We had a very nice lunch at the common man. This serve yourself water and crackers were a real treat. Great prices and a friendly waitress made for a great time and nice lunch with the family. We weren?t there more than an hour and we got out ofthere for 48 bucks.
