Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI had never been a place with such rude and ordinary people. They treated us like we were begging for food. It is not worth it to go here.
Ordered quesadillas and papusas. Service is quite slow. Food was very good. And picked up some hominy and hot sauce in the mercado
It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is worth stopping. Tucked in a small strip of business, this restaurant and market is small and family run so expect some delays. Service is slow, but well worth the wait. The pupusas and enchiladas are a personal favourites, as is the cassava. As other reviewers have mentioned, they do not accept credit cards so if you're planning to dine here, stop at an ATM and pull out some cash.
My friend and I visited this Salvadoran restaurant on Saturday. I didn't make a reservation, as the website suggests this isn't necessary for groups smaller than 4. There were several tables available, but it was a very small space with about 3-4 tables for 4 and 2-3 tables for 2.I took a seat near the window and was provided 2 menus while I waited for my friend, who was running late. I waited for about half an hour and was not offered water or a drink until after my friend arrived. The couple at the table next to me ordered and within 15 minutes were served their main course, but it seems their appetizer was forgotten.Something to note is that they are not licensed and they only accept cash and debit. The beverages include Horchata, Jamaica, Tamarindo, Marnon, Maracuya and Zapote, though these were not on the menu. I found them on their website. The menu has typical options from such as enchiladas and pupusas, which can be ordered as a single portion to try a number of items or as a meal, and are very reasonably priced at $3.50 each. Enchiladas can be ordered with avocado, beans or ground beef. Pupusas come filled with cheese, beans, pork or all three.I also ordered the tortilla soup which was a rich, flavourful soup with lots of cheese, chunks of avocado, shredded chicken and crispy strips of tortillas.Other options which I have yet to try include a variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and tamales.
Driving by looking a new ethnic restaurant to try. Love lantino food. This place does not disappoint. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. Menu is large. We both ordered the tortilla soup, as we were wanting a light lunch. Took a reasonable amount of time. Was very good, just like the south. I also had a pop, which was tasty. They have a small grocery selection which we picked up a couple things. This will be a go to resturant for us
