We had a LOVE time with our server this Saturday afternoon, unfortunately I forgot their name and forgot to ask again, but it was so pleasant. Very helpful, attentive, bubbly and had no problem explaining us their huge menu items! Tokyo Roll Special was phenomenal and the volcano was very light and refreshing. Even better offers for happy hours 4:30-6:30. Look at her!
Decided to switch our sushi routines and tried Hokkaido Sushi Teppan. You have a great happy hour appetizer and sushi specialties including one of my favorites, Takoyaki, which was cooked for perfection with a creamy interior, super delicate octopus bites inside, and a generous portion of Bonito flakes above (only what it was missing was the Mayo above). I tried the Hibachi (they have the tables for the show, but they serve it sans-show on the regular table side) and the steak was perfectly cooked medium rarely, the scallops still tender, and about $5 cheaper than cove (although Kobe?s soup, ginger dressing, noods and white sauce are still king). The sushi was also excellent with generous quantities of quality tuna in the tuna reel, great consistency and taste on rice, crisp tempura shrimp and well constructed rolls. Excellent service, clean dining area and bathroom. Just what is it? A bit small, I think 4-5 Hibachi tables for 8 and the regular seats were about 10 tables, probably could place 30? But they also did a big takeout business, so you can also get it.
Our new favorite place for hibachi sushi. The service is great and the food is fresh and tasty. Your sushi is amazing and expensive.
Good lunch menu, I grabbed two sushi rolls and have a onion soup with it. Was tasty! Service was quick, great lunch spot, reasonably priced too. Server was working alone and she did a great job to juggle serving us and answering take out calls!
