Empire Buffet - Woonsocket

We showed up at 3:25 for a late lunch, and we saw that the outside restaurant sign said dinner was at 3:45. When we got the check, we noticed we had been charged full dinner price, even though we didn't eat any of the dinner items, and we were early enough to have the lunch price. Our waitress insisted dinner started at 3:30, which even still is after we were eating. She also brought over multiple dinner receipts for customers who showed up before us who were all charged for dinner price as well. We ended up paying the full dinner price, but we feel wronged and lied to. Food was great, but the price and courtesy is unfortunate.

Went there twice with my husband, food is not bad. It’s awkward sitting in a room with all the waitresses staring at you without blinking once. 1st time waitress brought the bill and waited there to ask for tip, 2nd time she never check on us but waited till we went to the front to cash out to follow us and stand by saying “thank you thank you” till my husband tipped her. Will never go back and do not recommend.

Roaches. One crawled across the side area sitting next to me, behind the seat behind me, after we had finished two plates, food honestly wasn't that bad, and we were honestly about to suggest this place to our freinds, they had a great selection freindly staff, but guys, roach? Please, if one Is out during the day, more are all over at night, they are nocturnal for the most part, you really need to get checked by the local health board or set up more frequent pest management solutions. It's understandable to have pests, but they should be identified, immidatly remedied and a frequent pest control solution put in place. We paid for our food, but honestly after that I had wish we had never dined there. I am warning everyone, don't make our same valentines mistake, stay away from this restaurant by all means possable.

Absolutely some of the best Chinese Food I’ve had in a very long time. Would have given 5 stars had they given me the correct order. I will be coming back here.

Great place to get buffet food if you are looking for a big meal. Price is super reasonable for the amount of food you can get there. The food is great and the service is excellent. They have a wide variety of food choices.
