Love Red Relish it’s my go to breakfast stop, everything is delish, coffee is great and staff are awesome! The chef even remembers that my sister and I eat a toasted sandwich with a knife and fork!!! Great place guys love it
Red Relish catered our garden wedding the food was perfect! Beautiful quiches, salads, cup cakes lemon meringue pie. I can highly recommend them
Tried all the cafes on the Lilydale to Warburton trail and, as seasoned cafe connoisseurs, this was by far the best! Great coffee! Fast, friendly attentive service. A varied delicious array of all home made food from local suppliers. Their vegetable quiche was cooked to perfection, thin crispy pastry with multiple layers of at least 5 vegetables. Plus, my husbands beef pie with green peppercorn was memorable quality, wholesome food at its best. Its quickly evident that their staff and talented chef truly take a pride in their product. Best cafe in Victoria!
Not particularly hip, but a pleasant little café in the wilds (well, the main street) of Yarra Junction. Staff were friendly and attentive, and I was welcomed in. The interior comprises an exposed brick wall and timber panelling, and suspended lights with orange shades. Tables and chairs were in solid timber, and there were a few kerbside tables. Low volume radio (Triple J) played unobtrusively in the background, and overall there was a good vibe to the place. Quite a few people were enjoying their dining, so it appears to be the place to be in Y.J. on a Sunday morning. The menu included a number of options suitable for vegetarians, which is a positive. I had the fruit toast, which was a generous serving of three slices, although the toast was just average. The coffee was quite good, though had a very slight bitter aftertaste. I would certainly make a return visit.
What looks unassuming and could almost be missed from the outside really hit the spot for me on a cold winter's day. The selection of cakes all look incredible- I tried the vanilla slice, cheescake and carrot cake. Portion sizes were large and the cakes did not disappoint. I also tried the vegetarian quiche and the open pumpkin and ricotta pie. Both were delightful and flavoursome- in fact everything in the savoury pastry cabinet looked incredible and I had a very difficult time deciding what to try. Only downside would be it didn't feel very homely inside- perhaps the style of table and chairs, and coffee was fairly ordinary. However on the upside service was friendly and prices were quite reasonable. Overall a good experience and would definately return. <br/ <br/
