Recently opened, well renovated. Fancy decor. Nice ambiance if you 're into nice dim sum restaurants.<br/ <br/ Their dim sum is decent, about the same quality as Dragon Boat fusion cuisine nearby, prices are comparable. Parking is easier here.<br/ <br/ Did not receive 'poor ' service in my recent visit. I thought the service was typical for Asian restaurant. It 's pretty hit or miss depending on your server.<br/ <br/ No comment yet about their dinner menu.<br/ <br/ Oyster was a bit pricey and prefer Judy 's cuisine nearby if you 're into Chinese fried oysters.<br/ <br/ Would go again.
This lobster was absolutely delicious. The meat was so fresh, so firm, and nicely stir-fried. There were lots of small crunchy fish sprinkled around the dish too. It was simply amazing.
I have heard bad things about the dinner, but I really really like the dim sum! Right now, it is currently my favourite dim sum restaurant in the GTA. I especially loved their shrimp dumplings (ha gow) (and I don 't normally prefer shrimp dumplings). I didn 't however, like their 'ham suy gok ' (triangular shaped fried dumplings). I have, however, heard that the quality and consistency and service has been slowly going downhill. I only tried this restaurant for the first time recently, so I 'm currently still happy with it. High quality tea leaves, beautifully executed dim sum dishes, cleanly plated, and beautiful decor. I also noticed that a lot of the tables give you more privacy than most other dim sum restaurants. I haven 't tried any of their sashimi yet, but I did browse through their seafood and fish store that is adjacent to the restaurant.
A new restaurant called 'Yu Seafood ' opened up to replace the bankrupt Wasibi buffet restaurant that existed in the West Beaver Creek location. When my lunch party got there for dim sum on Tuesday at 11:45 am, there was a long line already waiting.<br/ <br/ Style and Decor: Totally different from Wasibi decor
