Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLet’s take a look at the history of this place. Years ago, this triangular plot of land started out as a Biff Burger restaurant. Then, ABC Pizza opened in the same building. But fun fact: the building that was there back then was completely different from what stands now. Over time, the old structure started to show its age—oh, and let's not forget those unforgettable restrooms! They were hardly bigger than those on an airplane. Regardless, this aging building served countless hungry patrons in Zephyrhills for a long time. Then one day, tragedy struck: a fire. Bam! The wrecking ball came in and knocked the old ABC Pizza building down—flattening it like a pizza! A new building was constructed on the same site. That’s the one you’ll see when you visit. New signs went up, and it was ABC Pizza once again. But soon, that new building just sat there looking empty and forlorn. As the folks in Zephyrhills reminisced about the old ABC, time marched on. Then one day, a truckload of shiny new signs arrived. But guess what? They didn’t say ABC Pizza! Instead, they read ‘Sunrise Eatery’! And so that was the situation—for one day. It was a fun little venture while it lasted. Of course, you guessed it: those new Sunrise Eatery signs came down one day too! They moved to the other side of the same parking lot, where a new Sunrise Eatery was set to open. And once again, this building sat empty, longing for its purpose. But wait! Another truckload arrived with… you guessed it! ABC Pizza! Yes, ABC Pizza transformed into Sunrise Eatery and then back to ABC Pizza again! And that brings us to the current tale. We’ve been long-time fans of various ABC Pizza locations—years ago, we would travel far and wide for their all-you-can-eat spaghetti specials or simply because we liked the crew at a specific location. Fast forward to last week: I traveled around Zephyrhills alone for two days, with each day dedicated to finding a great lunch at a great price. Both days, my foodie journey brought me to this latest ABC Pizza! Both days, I was lucky enough to be served by the incredibly talented Miss Lulu! With a name like Lulu, how could she not be fabulous? Her vibrant personality made dining a real joy. On day one, I ordered the souvlaki, which came with a Greek salad and a side of pilaf (I love that word, pilaf!). Lulu presented me with a gorgeous Greek salad that was so perfect, I had to take a picture of it and post it on social media. I got a lot of "yum" likes on that post! Everything was delicious. On day two, to my delight, Lulu greeted me at the door. Even though she wore a mask, I recognized her by her eyes and voice. I took a seat, and she didn’t miss a beat: sweet tea? Check! Greek salad? Check! I decided to skip the souvlaki this time since the salad was so ample. Once again, Lulu showcased her masterpiece salad. Wow, I said! More "yum" likes came in, starting with me! If you’re not familiar with the ABC Pizza tradition, let me fill you in: they have the best house dressing! Whether served in the old plastic squeeze bottles or today’s safer cup, their Greek salad dressing is a must. So, that wraps up our story. See? It wasn’t as long as some dusty old novel, and it’s way more fun following this yellow brick road to this little slice of pizza heaven!
I ordered a TGIF delivery for my company through their online system and scheduled a specific delivery time. I chose the "Deal 10 Tastemaker," which allows for up to three toppings. I selected pepperoni, mushrooms, and black olives, along with an order of eight spicy garlic baked boneless wings. The delivery was prompt, and the delivery person was courteous and friendly. The pizza was exactly as I had imagined—prepared to my specifications and cooked perfectly. The wings were equally delicious. Thank you, Pizza Hut team, for making my busy day a little brighter with your great service and overall experience!
