14.09.2023 - 05:19Homey skewer is indeed a homey place with only 5-6 tables. The prices are reasonable; I wasn't afraid to order a little more and the bill ended up being less than any other skewer place I went to in the last 2 years. You know how some skewer places seem to flavor their skewers with one overpowering spice? Not here! The skewers are well-seasoned; sweet, spicy, and savory. Relative to other places, the beef tendon and chicken skin are standouts. And I don't even like tendon that much but the one here is particularly palatable. There was only one server wearing a Stussy shirt when we went. He was very friendly and asked us if we needed any introduction of the menu, named each skewer as he brought them over (they are not always so clear), refilled our waters, and checked in on us during our meal.

24.08.2023 - 12:46There's a lot of offal dishes that you would be hard pressed to find in the south bay. For example, the blood sausage in the form of different dishes is unique and they manage to make it not too grainy. I love how the vermicelli inside just explodes when it's soup and bulges out. So funny. The variety of grilled innards is nice and none of it tastes too gamey. Large, large selection of shareable soup and casserole dishes as well. The regular apps (anything under that section on the menu) like the seafood pancake and mandu are just alright.

19.08.2023 - 15:40Dusita has become a South bay staple. I have seen hordes of Santa Clara tech folks come in on their lunch break. They do have great $12 lunch specials. They don't skimp on their portions and even after the hard times of late, the portions remain generous. Please refer to my most recent takeout pics. The green curry is in a container with more depth but it def lasted two meals easy. When they first opened, the mild was the equivalent of spicy in most Thai places. Now, they have mellowed it out FYI. But they definitely bring the heat if you go above that which I personally prefer. I like most their dishes, especially the curries. Obviously there may be some other Thai places that make one specific dish better than them, but most Thai places also cost $4 more with smaller portions. Also the employees and employers are hardworking and they have cute seasonal decorations.Parking: Very few spaces relative to the amount of stores in this plaza as is the norm for the stretch of El Camino in Santa Clara

23.07.2023 - 10:07Great collection of flavors that sound/look somewhat artificial but taste good. (Ie: cotton candy). The baked goods are subpar. The guy that helped us was super chill. He agreed with me that the menu doesn’t specify that the colored cones are extra but shrugged and said it wasn’t his store. Hee. The price is a tad high. 2 scoops and a cone was around $10ish with tax and tip. The scoops could be a little bigger but hey small businesses gotta be stingy with their sizes. We ate standing around the corner of the store. The trash bins were overflowing and there was some chain smoking going on the two times I went. A homeless man asking for change. Not the most conducive environment to enjoy dessert but since the ice cream was already melting when they handed it to me, I thought I best get on it. I think there were some wobbly tables outside but it was too cold both nights to sit on metal while eating a cold treat.
